How To Mix & Match Jewelry

Dare to be different by mixing and matching your jewelry this season? Here are 6 creative ways to mix and match your jewelry.

1. Pearls with diamonds. This is an age-old trick to make your jewelry look full and beautiful. Consider a pearl necklace coupled with diamond earrings. You could also do it the other way around, with a chain and diamond pendant coupled with pearl earrings.

2. Different colored jewels. You may have a gorgeous pair of fashion earrings in your birthstone that you are afraid you can’t ever wear with a necklace because you do not have a matching stone. Combining different gemstones is not a fashion faux pas! Choose colors to match or contrast the outfit you are wearing to complete any look.

3. Wooden, resin or ceramic beads. For a young, spunky look, try a cluster of chains with various types of beads. Try chains made from linen, leather or Sterling Silver with a mix of wooden, resin or ceramic beads.

4. Acrylic with rhinestones. Bangle bracelets are always in style and come in many different materials and colors. Rhinestone-accented bracelets are beautifully paired with fashion jewelry necklaces that feature acrylic beads. This gives you a laid-back look that is comfortable and stunning at the same time.

5. Sterling silver with pearls. Silver chandelier earrings and necklaces look elegant with pearl bracelets. Since pearls have a subtle lustre, try silver with a matte finish.

6. Sandstone with Onyx. Both are formal and great for evening wear. A beautiful blue sandstone necklace with a pair of Black Onyx drop earrings is perfect for any formal occasion.
